Jeremy & Courtney – June 3, 2017
It’s always a privilege to get to know our wedding couples. Jeremy and Courtney were no exception.
Courtney was the most organized bride we have ever worked with. She created an itinerary for the day, including names, phone numbers, emails, places, times, essentials needed, everything down to a T. Color us impressed because that takes so much time and effort to produce such a well organized plan. On the other hand, Jeremy went with the flow. Whenever asked about any detail, his response was: “You should probably ask Courtney.”
When we arrived, hair and makeup was well underway. The bridesmaids enjoyed their time together, sharing laughs and hanging out as each waited for their turn to finish hair and makeup. Ava, Jeremy’s daughter, was absolutely adorable. As the first one finished, we kicked off photographs with her and her dad first.
The Ceremony took place in the Riverview area at the KI Convnetion Center. It was breathtaking. Flower petals canvassed the aisle with the sunlight hitting the river behind. The sunlight hit the water just so right, that the waves reflected the energy and emotion from everyone there.
Jeremy and Courtney wrote their own vows.
Courtney wrote out hers as Jeremy said it was too difficult to put on paper. Courtney began by saying how they had met each other many years ago through a friend. He wore pajama pants and held a boom box over his shoulder. (Quite a visual image!) Their paths had not crossed again until a few years ago. Courtney loves and remembered the way Jeremy can always make her laugh! Life is so exciting with him in her life. Jeremy, again said it was too hard to speak of all the things that made him love Courtney. However, he could only explain that she made his life complete.
To complete the ceremony. Jeremy and Courtney put a unity puzzle together. Jeremy commented on how it was a little more difficult then he thought. “Just as life can be a puzzle, we all have to fit together.”
The officiant asked Ava if she consented to this wedding, and she gleefully cheered, “Yes!’ welcoming Courtney into the family. Now! Let the party begin! Family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful couple.
Thank you Jeremy and Courtney for allowing us to be part of your wonderful day. We hope every time you look at your wedding photos, the memories of the day flood back, like you are reliving every moment of this puzzle, pieces fitting together, and finally solved.
Until the next puzzle arrives, we wish you love, laughter and happiness, Ryan & Mary Gueller
