Some weddings simply stay with you forever, and this was one of them.

We first met Nick when he was just a baby, and over the years we’ve had the honor of photographing so many special milestones for the Retzlaff family, along with his brother and sister. The Retzlaffs have always held a very special place in our hearts. Ruth, Nick’s mom, is truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She is always smiling, positive, encouraging, and has always supported her children in exploring every opportunity life brings.

So when Nick and Brittny asked us to photograph their wedding day, we were beyond excited and deeply honored to be part of such an important moment in their lives.

Brittny is incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and amazingly organized. Nick is kind, caring, and genuine in every way. Together, their relationship is something truly special. You can see the deep love, respect, friendship, and kindness they have for one another in every interaction. They simply bring out the best in each other.

And Brittny looked absolutely stunning! Nick looked pretty handsome himself. Together, they were effortless in front of the camera.

Their wedding party brought so much energy, laughter, and support throughout the day. You could truly feel how much everyone loves and cares for Nick and Brittny. The relationships and friendships surrounding them made the entire day even more meaningful.

Ripon College provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. The campus offered so many beautiful and scenic locations for portraits, and we had an absolute blast exploring the grounds with them. Nick and Brittny were up for anything we suggested, which made the creative process even more fun.

Nick and Brittny, thank you for trusting us to capture your wedding memories. Being part of your day meant more to us than words can express. Watching the little boy we once photographed as a baby marry the love of his life was incredibly special, and it is a day we will never forget.
