Be You

Yes, it’s that simple! Just Be You! Everyone else is taken, so the best person to be is you. You’ve heard us say this before, however it truly resonates with how we like to photograph high school seniors. Our goal is to capture the life you are living as a high school student. Creating a visual history of who you are today, because believe it or not; a day will come when you are explaining and showing your own children what your life was like as a high school student.

So when you are planning your senior photos think about all the different activities, hobbies, sports, clubs, whatever it is that you do and incorporate them into your session. The possibilities are endless!! Bring a trunk load a truck load a boat load of props.

Tell us about yourself, we can give you great ideas on what to bring. Are you in drama, bring the programs, playbills, costumes, etc. Are you a musician, instruments, sheet music, etc. If you are into sports, bring your entire uniform, equipment, dirty cleats, etc. If you are into sound recording or gaming, or anything computer related, bring your computer, headphones, speakers, etc. Biking, motocross, motor cycles, cars, mopeds, hunting, fishing. Are you into fashion, do you have a shoe collection, do you like hats, bags,  I think you are getting the idea. Make your session into something you would like to remember about yourself.

Need some ideas; take a look at Ike’s book of senior photos. As you can see he is very much into music, a variety of instruments, recording studio, etc. We traveled to Thelma, the radio station (of course; Ike had an “in”, he knew the owner)!! All it takes is a little conversation about what makes you; you!

Give us a call, we would love to capture your life with great images. Ones your family are proud to own. Images that will give your family bragging rights. Let them be proud of you!

Ike’s senior album took First Place in the album competition at SYNC; the largest senior portrait conference in the United States. Approximately 500 photographers attended the conference recently held in Destin, Florida. Ryan’s entry of Ike was judged upon portrait quality, lighting, creativity.
